Buddhist literature in Hebrew
Dhammadāna Publishing (literally: giving of the Dhamma) has been working since 2002 to distribute Buddhist writings and the teachings of the Buddha in Israel in the Hebrew language, including translations of original scriptures, articles and reflections on the subject. All books are available for reading directly from the website and are published in a printed edition that can be ordered based on stock availability.
Shai Schwartz – Publisher, Translator and Writer
Shai has been involved in Buddhism since 1998, studying, practicing, and doing. He spent many months in Buddhist monasteries and meditation centers in Burma, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Europe, and Israel. He is an academic researcher of Buddhism, a technologist, and an entrepreneur for a living. He founded Dhammadana Publishing House with the goal of spreading the Dhamma in Hebrew.
